Founder / President

Joe brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, sales, supply management, technology implementation and process reengineering. Prior to NGEN, he partnered with Pacificom Multimedia LLC where he focused on developing multimedia solutions for organizations within the real estate development sector. His experience includes working for clients such as Minto Commercial, CountryWide Homes, MGM, Harrah's, Canadian Niagara Hotels, Kolter Properties, Sonesta TDS Hotel & Resort, CIBC, Fidelity Investments, ADP and The Herjavec Group. Joe is a marketing graduate of Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and a designated supply chain management professional from PMAC.

    Founder / VP of Operations

    Dion co-founded NGEN Strategic Marketing after running his own boutique design agency for more than 20 years. Dion has worked for a diverse range of North America's leading companies including Canon, Computer Associates, Kia Motors, Apotex Pharmaceuticals, Schlage/Ingersoll Rand,

    Symbol Technologies, Hudson's Bay Company and Heinz. He has an honours degree in visual communication design and photography from York University and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of NGEN's creative department, managing budgets, timelines, and the resources of our studio.

  • MIKE RENEAU

    Senior Account Director / Strategist

    As a third generation advertising professional, Michael loves the business and champions the core disciplines of strategy, creativity and business acumen. Or as he puts it - not being afraid to walk into dark rooms and find the light switch. Always the consummate adman, he has an extensive background working with blue chip clients, and a proven track record for consistently developing and delivering results based solutions that drive business. With over 25 years in the business working at multinational agencies, Saatchi and Saatchi, Y&R, FCB and Doner, he has forged a solid strategic process and senior account service approach on such business as Toyota, Sporting Life, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Carlsberg Beer and Casino Niagara to name a few. This integrated brand, retail exposure and cross-pollination of business verticals has provided a unique view on business needs and best practices. He draws on this vast experience everyday for our clients.

  • Victor Schmidlin

    Creative Director

    A senior creative professional with more than 15 years of experience, Victor has a bachelor in Advertising and Marketing, and an MBA in Corporate Communications. Coming from a very competitive environment in Brazil, -one of the world's five largest creative industries with an advertising market 40% larger than Canada's- Victor has received numerous awards, and was nominated as 1 of 20 new talents in the promotional, experiential, event, incentive and engagement marketing industry in his country of origin. He has worked in respected agencies for multinational and national clients such as Mondelez, Bunge, Caixa (public bank and lottery), Embratur (national agency for tourism), Tim (Italian telecom), HSBC, Thermo King, and many others. With extensive experience leading creative teams, managing workflow, planning and developing concepts and key visuals, he joined NGEN in the fall of 2015.

  • Upendra Srivastava

    DIGITAL LEAD

    Upendra moved from Montreal to join NGEN in the fall of 2015. He has a masters degree in information technology and is an accomplished digital strategist, web planner, developer and analyst. At NGEN, Upendra is responsible for leading our digital team and managing the development of all our digital initiatives.
